Bicycle licence Disc Finds
One of the most fun items to uncover while metal detecting in South Africa is the good old Bicycle licence disc.
In the old days one required a bicycle licence to be attached to your two bike in order to be allowed to use it, something we today find fairly funny.
These bicycle licence discs frequently indicate as coins while metal detecting and are a good thrill to dig out the ground.
Here are some great examples found by metal detector enthusiasts in South Africa.

Another good bicycle licence disc from 1934. unearthed in a park in Springs Gauteng. Bicycle licence discs give off great signals!
